Hardwood Chain Makers Draw Plate for Vise

The Hardwood Chain Makers Draw Plate is a practical, bench-proven tool designed for reducing soft chain or woven chain to a smaller diameter. Crafted from hard boxwood with smooth holes, the draw plate allows you to pull chain material through consecutively smaller openings, gradually reducing the chain's overall size with control and precision.

One side of the block features slightly chamfered holes to guide the chain into each opening and ease the drawing process. The integrated tang can be secured in a vise for hands-free operation, or the plate can be held by hand depending on your workflow. Twelve graduated holes ranging from 1.2 mm to 6.5 mm provide a wide reduction range suitable for a variety of chain styles and gauges.
