Layout Boards

The Layout Board is a custom add-on modification available exclusively for the John Frei Workbench. This option cannot be retrofitted onto an existing bench — it must be specified at the time of order and is only available on a custom-order basis.

When you add the Layout Board option, your bench will be built from scratch with this feature incorporated. Because of this custom fabrication process, please allow 4–6 weeks before your bench ships. The layout board fits between the bank of drawers and the workbench top, providing a dedicated workspace surface integrated directly into your bench's design.

As with all optional features available for the John Frei Workbench, this modification is hand built specifically for you. If you are considering one option, it may be worth reviewing the full range of available add-ons — since your bench is being custom fabricated, combining multiple features at the time of order is the most efficient approach.
