Oval Millgrain Tool Complete Set & Wood Handle

A complete set of 15 oval millgrain tools — sizes 1 through 15 — with a wood handle included. Stone setters rely on millgrain tools to create small, uniform depressions around a stone that enhance its appearance and make it appear larger and brighter. These are precision stone-setting tools, not to be confused with the larger decorative millgrain wheels used on a lathe for wedding band edges.

The size range across the full set is remarkably fine: size #1 measures approximately 0.35 mm across, while the largest, size #15, measures approximately 0.65 mm — a total span of only 0.30 mm, with approximately 0.02 mm between each size. Each tool is marked with its size number (1–15) for easy identification. Made in France.
