These mounted sandpaper rolls bring KOVAX® precision abrasive technology to the jeweler's handpiece. Engineered for jewelry and metals, mold polishing, electronic polishing, instrument polishing, and furniture polishing, each roll features a durable backing with an abrasive surface suited for wet or dry sanding to achieve fine, consistent finishes. The full 11-grit assortment — stored in a reusable acrylic box — gives bench professionals a complete progression from aggressive stock removal through ultra-fine polishing in a single kit.

As the abrasive wears down during use, simply peel the paper back and tear it off to expose a fresh abrasive surface. Each roll is constructed of 1" wide × 10" lengths of high-quality abrasive paper, so there is always a clean cutting surface ready. Mounted on 3/32" (2.35 mm) shanks, these rolls fit standard rotary handpieces. Maximum speed is 5,000 RPM; optimum operating speeds are much lower — between 25% and 50% of maximum — and will vary depending on the workpiece material.
