OttoBCR is a concentrated, alkaline ultrasonic cleaning solution formulated to rapidly remove buffing compounds—Tripoli, rouge, white diamond, and similar residues—from metal jewelry. Safe on silver, gold, brass, copper, and most metals, it also works as an effective additive in rotary and vibratory tumblers with steel shot and other abrasive media. Available in 1 Quart and 1 Gallon sizes for shops of any scale.

  • Stones and Gems: OttoBCR is alkaline—test first on any stones or gems before use. Exercise caution with porous, delicate, or heat- and chemical-sensitive materials

Notes

  • Add OttoBCR to water in the tank, mix, then heat to operating temperature before use
  • Maintain bath concentration with periodic additions as cleaning load increases
  • Rinse workpieces thoroughly after cleaning to remove residual compound and solution
  • Use appropriate PPE when handling concentrates and follow equipment manufacturer guidance
  • Dispose of spent solution in accordance with local regulations
