Description

110V / 120V supply only. This unit is built for standard North American household current (110V / 120V). Running it on 220V / 240V through a voltage converter-transformer voids any warranty the equipment may have. Confirm your outlet voltage before powering on. Learn more

Take a batch of rings or small parts from tool marks to a bright burnished finish without standing over them at the bench. The Raytech TV-5 Vibratory Tumbler Metals Polishing Kit pairs Raytech's compact 3-pint TV-5 tumbler (110V) with the most popular finishing media and compound for efficient small-batch metal polishing. Designed for up to 25 rings per run, this kit takes parts through cutting, pre-polishing, and dry polishing stages, reducing hand finishing time on non-ferrous and precious metals. Made in the USA.

It handles deburring, smoothing, and polishing of jewelry and small metal parts in gold, silver, brass, and non-ferrous alloys, and suits small shops, classroom instruction, and prototyping.

Features

  • 3-pint bowl capacity, ideal for small jewelry batches
  • Includes cutting, pre-polish, and dry polish media plus all-purpose compound
  • Compatible with plastic and ceramic media; not rated for steel shot
  • Compact profile, approximately 9 in tall
  • Runs on standard 110V power
  • Made in the USA

Compatibility

The TV-5 bowl is rated for plastic and ceramic media only and is not rated for steel shot. It is not a flow-thru model.

Notes

Work the stages in order:

  1. Cut: Run parts with Medium Cut (Dark Green) plastic pyramids to remove tool marks and smooth surfaces.
  2. Pre-Polish: Switch to Fine Cut (Light Green) plastic pyramids to refine the surface finish.
  3. Polish: Finish dry with Dri-Shine III media for a bright, burnished luster.

Add a small amount of Compound 750 during the cutting and pre-polish stages to improve cleaning and cutting action. Rinse parts and dry them between each step.

  • Do not use steel shot. This tumbler is rated for plastic and ceramic media only.
  • Do not exceed 5 lb total load, including both media and parts.
  • Clean bowl and media after each use; store dry.
