A 5-to-1 reduction gearbox makes large passes significantly easier, reducing operator fatigue when working with heavier gauges or harder metals. The hardened helical drive gears feature a special tooth form designed for maximum drive efficiency and long service life. Self-lubricating, maintenance-free bearings keep the mill running smoothly without ongoing upkeep. Calibrated dials on both top wheels, each fitted with a precision pointer, allow for accurate and repeatable gap measurement at a glance.
The included side extension rolls provide four half-round profiles—4mm, 3mm, 2mm, and 1.5mm—making it straightforward to roll half-round wire and shanks without a separate tool. Made in Great Britain.
