Notes

Recommended for: Jewelry metals (gold, silver, platinum), set diamonds and hard gemstones such as ruby and sapphire, and shop tools and parts. Ultrasonics do not remove tarnish.

Do not ultrasonically clean: Soft or porous stones including emeralds, opals, turquoise, pearls, amber, and ivory; stones with many inclusions or fractures; heat- or shock-sensitive materials. Do not submerge complete watches — to clean metal bands, suspend the watch head above the solution and immerse only the bracelet using an appropriate holder in a basket.

Operating guidelines: Do not run continuously — most cleaning occurs within the first 30 seconds. Keep solution level between 3/4 and 7/8 full. Always use a non-ammoniated, non-flammable ultrasonic cleaning solution; pre-mix concentrates with water before filling the tank. Degas the bath by running the unit for a few minutes before cleaning. Always use a basket — never place items directly on the tank bottom, as this can damage transducers and void the warranty.
