Description
Level a solder seam, take down a casting, or bring an enamel surface flat by hand with a pad that flexes to the work instead of fighting it.
3M™ Diapad™ Diamond Hand Laps are precision diamond abrasive pads engineered for fast, consistent cutting on hard-to-sand materials. Featuring a flexible, contoured foam base and a 100% diamond-coated surface arranged in a uniform dot pattern, these hand laps provide controlled material removal and refined finishing for jewelers, metalsmiths, and enamel artists. The balanced feel and even cutting action make surface leveling efficient and predictable.

Notes
Metal Bonded (Nickel) laps are more heat resistant and preferred for heavier material removal. Resin Bonded laps are slightly more forgiving on delicate surfaces and suited for final finishing.
Diamond abrasives are graded in microns (µm). Higher micron numbers indicate larger abrasive particles and a coarser cut. Due to diamond's extreme hardness, each grit efficiently removes the previous scratch pattern.
