AGILO 5101.MF CABSHINE-MF Square Edge Diamond Polishing Wheel

The AGILO 5101.MF CABSHINE-MF is a diamond polishing wheel engineered to remove lighter scratches on cabochons and fine gemstones. Developed in Switzerland for AGILO and tested and approved by Swiss lapidary artists and Swiss fine jewelers, this Medium-Fine grit wheel fills the gap between the Medium wheel (110.111M) and the Fine wheel (110.121F). It is less aggressive than the Medium wheel, offering a gentler approach to removing light scratches while remaining effective on gemstones up to 6 Mohs in hardness—making it ideal for touch-up work on finished stones.

The square edge profile and diamond-filled abrasive construction deliver consistent, controlled material removal. Like all polishing tasks, use the wheel crosswise: polish with the side of the wheel in one direction (e.g., left to right), then repeat in the perpendicular direction (top to bottom). Practice on inexpensive stones first to understand the possibilities and limitations of the CABSHINE-MF before working on finished pieces.
