AGILO 5132.XF CABSHINE-XF Knife Edge Diamond Polishing Wheel

The AGILO CABSHINE-XF (5132.XF) is an extra-fine grit, knife-edge diamond polishing wheel designed to deliver a final shine on cabochons and fine gemstones — including stones already set in a ring. Its narrow knife-edge profile reaches tight spaces and close settings that flat or dome wheels cannot access. Developed in Switzerland for AGILO and refined with Swiss lapidary artists and bench jewelers, this wheel allows in-house touch-ups on many stones up to approximately 9 on the Mohs scale without sending work out.

Polishing is performed with the side of the wheel using light, crosswise strokes — first left-to-right, then top-to-bottom. Light pressure is key; the diamond-filled abrasive does the work. Always practice on inexpensive or scrap stones before working on valuable pieces to understand the wheel's limits and your technique.
