Tool Change Procedure: Hold the handpiece with both hands. With one hand stabilizing the upper portion, use the other hand to twist the lower ring to the left, then push the assembly upward. Turn the ring to the right to hold the assembly in the raised position—the adjustable chuck will extend out, exposing the center shaft. Spin the chuck open or closed to fit the desired drill or bur, then tighten finger-tight. Twist the lower ring to the left to lower the chuck back into the handpiece, then turn right to lock automatically. To remove a bit, repeat the process in reverse: raise the assembly, loosen the chuck, remove the tool, and lower the assembly back into the handpiece.
