The Fox QC-S3 Quick Change Short Tool Holder is a precision-machined accessory designed for jewelers and engravers who use the Fox Quick Change Graver Handle system. Machined from solid billet aluminum, this American-made tool holder offers a reliable, low-profile solution for securing gravers and other tools during engraving and stonesetting work.
The QC-S3 features a 1/8" (3.17 mm) hole and measures 33 mm in total length, with 14 mm extending from the graver handle when installed. This short version is slightly longer than a typical GRS QC tool holder, making it a practical alternative for those familiar with the GRS quick-change system.
A key slot prevents the tool holder from rotating on the graver handle, and a small O-ring on the 1/4" diameter shank ensures a snug, secure fit. Tools are locked in place with a single hex nut that accepts a 2 mm (5/64") hex key — the same key used for GRS QC tool holders. Note that the hex key is not included and must be purchased separately.
This holder is compatible with the Fox Quick Change Graver Handles, available in Pear Shape (136.610) and Round Shape (136.612), sold separately. Additional configurations in long and extra-long lengths, as well as versions with a 3/32" (2.38 mm) hole, are also available.
