The Fox QC-XL3 Quick Change Extra Long Tool Holder is a precision-machined accessory designed for use with Fox Quick Change Graver Handles. Manufactured in the USA from solid billet aluminum, this tool holder offers a robust and reliable solution for engravers and stonesetting professionals who demand consistent tool alignment and a secure fit during detailed work.
The Extra Long holder measures 43 mm in total length, with 24 mm extending from the Graver Handle when installed. A key slot prevents the tool holder from rotating on the Graver Handle, and a small O-ring on the 1/4" diameter shank ensures a snug, stable fit. Tools are secured in place by a single hex nut requiring a 2 mm (5/64") hex key—the same hex key used for GRS QC Tool Holders.
This model features a 1/8" (3.17 mm) hole for tool insertion. Compatible with Fox Quick Change Graver Handles in both Pear Shape (136.610) and Round Shape (136.612). Also available from Fox in short and long versions, as well as short, long, and extra long versions with a 3/32" (2.38 mm) hole. Note that the hex key is not included and must be purchased separately.
