Glardon-Vallorbe Knife Escapement Files - LE3004

Glardon-Vallorbe Knife Escapement Files (LE3004) are precision Swiss-made watchmaker's files designed for working in slots, wedge-shaped openings, and other restricted areas. The knife profile is tapered in both width and thickness, while the curved knife edge maintains a consistent thickness from point to shoulder. Both sides are cut, making these files effective for refining tight internal geometries with control and accuracy.

Escapement file length is measured from the tip to the end of the cut — the tang and handle are not included in this measurement. These files feature square handles and are graded on a numeric scale from 0 (coarsest) to 8 (finest); the higher the number, the finer the cut.
