The Glardon-Vallorbe LF234-S Ceramic Fiber Files are round rods of graded ceramic material designed for finishing and polishing hard-to-reach areas. At 2.34mm (3/32") in diameter and 50mm (2") in length, these files fit directly into popular quick-change rotary handpieces and GRS 3/32" QC tool holders, making them a valuable addition to any jeweler's or metalsmith's bench setup.
Use them full-length by hand, or break them to a custom length for use with micro polishing and filing handpieces such as the Badeco 8LC100 (for flex shaft use) or the Badeco 4LC100 (for use with a Badeco micromotor system). The round profile can also be shaped to a point using diamond dressing stones or wheels, allowing access to the narrowest recesses and detail areas. Available in seven grits ranging from XX Coarse to Fine, these files support the full spectrum of finishing work from aggressive material removal to refined polishing.
