The Quatro AA006 Flexible Extraction Arm with Fume Hood and Slide Valve is a hard black plastic segmented arm designed for use with the Quatro SolderPure and other compatible fume collecting systems. One end connects to a clear plastic fume fishmouth (collector hood), while the other end features a slide gate sized for 3" hose, allowing you to control airflow directly at the source.
The flexible arm is constructed from individual hard plastic segments that snap together. Important assembly note: when connecting segments, apply pressure from above and below—not from the sides—to properly seat each joint.
This is a basic kit. It does not include a table bracket, hose, hose clamps, or adapters. You will need to source compatible hose, hose clamps, and any necessary adapters to complete the connection between the slide gate and your fume extraction system.
A more complete kit—including a table bracket for mounting the slide gate, a short length of 3" diameter heavy-duty hose, and hose clamps—is available separately. See part number 147.631. Note that the final connection to your equipment may still require additional adapters depending on your system.
