Quatro AA008 Fume Collection Hood with Mobile Arm Kit

The Quatro AA008 Fume Collection Hood with Mobile Arm Kit provides a complete, ready-to-install flexible extraction arm and hood assembly for use with fume collecting systems such as the Quatro SolderPure, Quatro Gold Vault, Quatro CollectAll, and other compatible fume collection equipment. This kit assembles quickly and connects to your existing system via a standard 3" diameter hose, making it a practical addition to any jeweler's or metalsmith's bench setup.

Features

• Flexible 2-foot (24"/60 cm) black plastic arm constructed from two 1-foot segmented sections that snap together — push from above and below (not from the sides) when connecting segments
• Includes a black slide valve (H397) for airflow control
• Plastic Fume Fishmouth Plexi Nozzle (AA043) included for broad capture area
• Oval Nozzle (H404) also included for targeted extraction applications
• 6-foot (72"/183 cm) length of 3" diameter heavy-duty flexible grey hose (H278-08) for routing to your collection source
• Two hose "C" clamps (H-117) for securing the grey hose in place
• 3" diameter jewelers table bracket (M041) for mounting the arm assembly to your bench

Notes

• The flexible arm segments connect by pressing from above and below — do not push from the sides when assembling.
• Your only remaining variable after assembly is the final connection fitting from the 3" hose to your specific fume collection system's inlet port.
• For use with the Quatro Gold Vault, a PVC 2" × 1-1/2" reducing coupling (available at hardware stores) along with foam insulating tape or duct tape is needed to adapt to the Gold Vault's 2-1/2" diameter hose. Otto Frei also offers the Quatro AR012 Hose Adapter Kit (147.6011) as a ready-made solution for this connection.
