Japanese Wax Carving Micro Knife TK-04 Short Oval 1.2 mm

The Japanese Wax Carving Micro Knife TK-04 features a 1.2 mm short oval blade profile engineered for the most intricate and delicate wax carving work. Crafted from high carbon tool steel and hardened to 60 RHC, this precision instrument delivers exceptional edge retention and control, making it equally capable on harder materials such as wood and plastics.

The blade is mounted on a lightweight black metal handle, with an overall length of 140 mm (5‑1/2") from tip to tip. The balanced design allows for comfortable extended use during detailed fabrication and model-making tasks. A leather cord is tied around the base of the handle so the tool can be hung safely when not in use, keeping sharp blades out of harm's way on the bench.
