Why does shipping cost more than expected?

Honest answer: our break-even point per order is well over a hundred dollars. Rather than setting a high minimum that shuts out smaller orders entirely, we price shipping to encourage larger orders, the more you spend, the lower your shipping becomes as a percentage of your total. We also offer free shipping on orders over $250 and under 10 lbs for most US addresses.

So if there’s anything else you’ve been eyeing, pairing it with your current cart is a good way to bring that shipping cost down.
