La arcilla de soldadura Thermo-Fix mantiene las piezas pequeñas en posición sobre el banco de joyero y protege las zonas sensibles al calor durante la soldadura, actuando como una barrera térmica localizada para que las superficies adyacentes reciban menos calor del soplete. Notas
Instrucciones:
- Amasar una porción hasta que sea maleable y, a continuación, aplicar una capa de 5–10 mm alrededor de las zonas que se desea proteger, o utilizarla para fijar piezas pequeñas.
- Colocar la pieza de forma segura y evitar bloquear el flujo de la soldadura o las uniones con fundente.
- Soldar como de costumbre, concentrando la llama en la unión y no directamente sobre la arcilla durante períodos prolongados.
- Dejar enfriar la pieza, retirar la arcilla y enjuagar cualquier residuo con agua. Guardar la arcilla reutilizable en un recipiente hermético.

Upon receipt, the container was very difficult to open. After I did get it open, the claylike substance looked like it had been used before and was stiff as though it was aged. I have used the product “Hold It” and really liked it. Something doesn’t seem right.
We are sorry you are not happy with Thermo-Fix. Please feel free to return it to us for a refund by requesting a RMA. Thermo-Fix is a clay like substance and it is not homoginezed so it does appear chunky and could certianly be described as aged. Please try some of it before you return it to see how it works for you.

Heard about this type of soldering clay but not until I tried it did I see what all the buzz was about! It is great and I have finally soldered the tiniest tipsy pieces together :)

This is amazing. Holds things that a third hand just can't do. I solder a lot of bands to wobbly surfaces, and this keeps it from rocking so I can get a perfect solder. Perfect for holding prongs in place, or creates a nice bed to prevent slumping. It can be reconstituted by adding water. What a great product!!! Worth every penny!
