Notes
Do not plug the Series SR motor directly into a wall outlet; always operate it through a compatible speed control.
Use the reverse feature with care when working on screw-top mandrels; reverse rotation can loosen unmounted polishing wheels on threaded mandrels. Use pre-mounted wheels when running in reverse.
Alternating forward and reverse directions can extend the life of some abrasives and help with symmetrical grinding, carving, and polishing.
Position the motor so the shaft hangs freely without sharp bends and keep the work area clear of the moving flex shaft.
