The TAIG Micro Lathe II Kit delivers the same core components as the fully assembled 141.100 lathe—offered as a cost-saving package for customers comfortable with basic mechanical assembly and light wiring. You will wire the motor to the on/off switch and mount all components to the pre-drilled board. A setup video is available, and the Otto Frei repair department is on hand to answer questions along the way.

The precision platform achieves overall working accuracy to 0.0005" with cross slide dial graduations of 0.001", making it capable of fine detail work in jewelry, watchmaking, and small-parts machining. The 6-step V-belt drive system provides broad speed selection with stable torque across a wide range of operations.
