Description

Un tornillo de banco vertical sostiene mandriles, estacas y herramientas de conformado en posición vertical para que puedas martillar contra una base sólida. El tornillo de banco vertical de banco de joyero Value Line es un tornillo de acero resistente, diseñado para proporcionar a joyeros, orfebres y trabajadores de banco una sujeción vertical segura de mandriles, estacas y herramientas de conformado. Monta verticalmente mandriles para pulseras, mandriles para anillos o herramientas de embutido y martilla con confianza: este tornillo ofrece una estabilidad cercana a la de un yunque pese a su huella sorprendentemente compacta, y está fabricado en la India.

Las mordazas de 3-1/2" × 3-1/2" cuentan con dos ranuras entrecruzadas, una de adelante hacia atrás y otra de lado a lado, para que las estacas y los mandriles puedan bloquearse en cualquiera de las dos direcciones, ofreciendo la máxima versatilidad. El mango en T se desliza para apartarse durante el martillado, manteniendo despejada el área de trabajo y protegiendo tu trabajo.

Incluye dos opciones de montaje: fíjalo rápidamente a tu banco de joyero con la abrazadera en C integrada, o retira la abrazadera en C y atornilla el tornillo directamente a través de los cuatro orificios de las esquinas para una instalación permanente. No se incluyen pernos para el montaje directo.

Very useful

The basic idea is great - a regular vise isn't the tool of choice for holding a mandrel horizontally. Also, being able to clamp it to the bench top means I'm not committing surface area when not in use. Don't worry about sturdiness - that clamp holds it to the benchtop very firmly, if you tighten it hard enough. Still, I can't give it the highest marks. The clamp that holds it to a benchtop comes off easily, if permanent mounting suits you. But, when I got this vise, the bolts that hold the clamp to the vise base didn't hold. The ends of the bolts had been chamfered to mate with threaded holes, but the chamfer cut back so much of the thread that one bolt didn't engage at all. The second bolt was chamfered the same way, sout I doubt that much was holding things together. The supplier (not Frei) replaced the bolts and got me working. After two other small snags, it does the job. A very helpful tool - but setup took a lot more fussing than I expected.
