Customers praised this dial control for delivering consistent, steady RPMs, particularly useful with hammer attachments. One shopper noted "love the control over rpms - keeps me steady and easier on my body." However, one customer found RPM scaling non-linear at lower settings, requiring careful monitoring.

Dial top control
This is a convenient way to achieve a steady rpm, especially when used with the hammer handle with its rpm limitations. I tested the rpm at different settings. With the unit I got, the rpm is not linear with the settings. At 1/4 setting the rpm on mine is around 7K. At full it is the expected 18K. Thus, be careful at the lower setting to not exceed the rpm recommended for the hammer handle.

Love the bench top speed control ! So nice to keep a consistent speed, especially with the hammer handpiece.

What was I waiting for?
I have the Foredom SR motor the foot pedal is good but sometimes the rpm goes higher than you need. Purchased the hammer attachment and needed to bring the rpm down. I now also have the constant rpm for drills, burs and my new hammer attachment. Must say I use this way more than I thought I would. I'm really glad I finally made the purchase.
