Where the steel version uses 3/16" solid steel panels and weighs approximately 10 pounds, this aluminum model uses thick tempered aluminum legs that bring the weight down to just 6 pounds — making it significantly more portable without sacrificing meaningful strength. The riser remains stronger than the table it mounts to. All components other than the legs are still solid steel for long-term durability. Both versions are visually identical; the only difference is the leg material.

Height is fully adjustable from 6.5" to 10.25" above the table surface in precise ½" increments, eliminating the wobbly improvised lifts and stacked blocks that plague jewelers working at non-standard benches.
