Product Details

The NC Black 6 Annie Anticlastic/Raising Hammer is purpose-built for metalsmiths who need precise control when raising tiny vessels of all shapes. Featuring faces with slightly less curvature than its shell-forming counterpart, this hammer strikes the ideal balance between the more aggressive curve of the Little Annie Forming Hammer and a flatter profile—making it especially well-suited for anticlastic raising and small-scale vessel work. The two faces offer subtly different curvature profiles, giving the maker versatility within a single tool.

NC Black Company has been crafting metalsmith hammers in the USA since the early 1990s. Every tool is hand fabricated one at a time by expert craftsmen and is 100% guaranteed by the factory in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Using high-grade tool steel and traditional cutting and shaping methods, NC Black produces exceptional tools built for professional use. Each hammer features a handmade wooden handle, expertly finished for comfort and longevity.
