Notes

Basic Ultrasonic Tips:

  • Always fill the tank to maximum capacity before use.
  • Always use an ultrasonic cleaning solution — never plain water alone.
  • Always use a basket or suspend items in the bath; never place items directly on the bottom of the tank.
  • Warm to hot solution cleans more effectively than cold — allow the unit to heat up before use.
  • Run the unit for a few minutes before adding jewelry to allow the solution to degas.
  • Keep the unit and surrounding area clean.

Daily Bath Maintenance: Starting each day with a fresh ultrasonic bath is best practice. If using OttoSonic Ultrasonic Cleaning Solution, you can pour off the top portion of the previous day's solution and set it aside for reuse. Discard the bottom portion, where dirt and grime will have settled overnight. Use a strainer when emptying the tank to catch any gems or small valuables that may have settled.
