Este tornillo de banco para trabajo pesado montado en una superficie de trabajo resistente le brinda una base sólida para sostener herramientas de formación: Sostiene mandriles de pulsera, mandriles de anillo e incluso herramientas de golpeo verticalmente sólidas para un martilleo pesado casi como un yunque. Las mordazas de 3-1/2" por 3-1/2" tienen 2 ranuras: una va hacia adelante y hacia atrás y la otra de lado a lado, lo que permite que las estacas y los mandriles se bloqueen y se monten en cualquier dirección. La apertura máxima de la mordaza es de 1-3/4"

El soporte de abrazadera en C se abre para acomodar una mesa de trabajo de hasta 2 1/4"

La abrazadera en C se quita fácilmente para el montaje directo en banco.

Puede montarse en su banco de trabajo usando la abrazadera en C integrada o atornillarse directamente a la superficie usando los cuatro orificios en las esquinas (pernos no incluidos). Construido de acero sólido. Hecho en India.

    The basic idea is great - a regular vise isn't the tool of choice for holding a mandrel horizontally. Also, being able to clamp it to the bench top means I'm not committing surface area when not in use. Don't worry about sturdiness - that clamp holds it to the benchtop very firmly, if you tighten it hard enough. Still, I can't give it the highest marks. The clamp that holds it to a benchtop comes off easily, if permanent mounting suits you. But, when I got this vise, the bolts that hold the clamp to the vise base didn't hold. The ends of the bolts had been chamfered to mate with threaded holes, but the chamfer cut back so much of the thread that one bolt didn't engage at all. The second bolt was chamfered the same way, sout I doubt that much was holding things together. The supplier (not Frei) replaced the bolts and got me working. After two other small snags, it does the job. A very helpful tool - but setup took a lot more fussing than I expected.
