Description

It looks like I am supposed to modify the tip in order to use this? Is there more info on modifying the tips and what modification will yield what design?

OttoFrei.com

Yes you will need to modify the tips. We now have a link to Peter Keeps website for more information on modifying the tips and uses once modified.

Does this work on silver? Would this type of setting crack stones softer than diamonds?

OttoFrei.com

Yes the Ezi-Set pliers will work with all non ferrous metals including silver. You don't need to use a lot of pressure to move small amounts of metal but too much pressure could cause some soft stones with thin girdles to crack so practice on cheaper stones first.
