Description
These micro rotary burnishers reach the cast surfaces a hand burnisher cannot get to, working between gallery wires, between split shanks and inside filigree. Armstrong Tooling engineered the set around a tapered, needle-fine point so the tool enters tight, intricate areas and still cuts.
The three grades remove casting skin, grow lines, porosity and tool scars, and are intended to reduce or virtually eliminate the traditional burnishing method. The area closest to the tip delivers a finer finish within each grit level, and the higher the facet count, the smoother and brighter the resulting surface.
Mount each burnisher in a flexshaft or micromotor and run it at speeds up to 30,000 RPM to reach the finish you want. The set covers burnishing, pre-polish, polish and cast clean-up.
