Cutting, drilling and bur work at the bench require a motor that keeps pulling under load rather than stalling the moment the tool bites, and that is the job the Foredom M.TX is built for. It is a 1/3 HP permanent magnet DC hi-torque motor for professional jewelers, metalsmiths and craftspeople who need precise control and consistent power across the full speed range. Rare earth magnets replace the wound fields used in Foredom's universal motors, so the M.TX delivers more torque at low speeds and throughout the entire range. Smooth acceleration reaches up to 15,000 RPM, making this Foredom's most powerful flex shaft motor.

The TX series replaces the discontinued Series R and uses a TX-compatible foot control. The flex shaft connects to all standard handpieces. This listing is for the M.TX motor only. Speed control, handpieces and accessories are sold separately.

Important: The Foredom M.TX must always be used with a compatible speed control device. Never plug the M.TX motor directly into a wall outlet. Select a TX series compatible speed control before use. TX and TXH motors are not available in 220V / 240V.
