Description
A top-quality titanium solder pick designed for precise solder positioning during soldering operations. The titanium tip comes to a very sharp point, making it ideal for placing and manipulating solder with accuracy. Titanium is the recommended material for use with gold and silver alloys due to its melting point of slightly over 3000°F and because gold and silver will not stick to titanium, cleanup and workflow remain uninterrupted.
The pick features a yellow-shaded brass ferrule and a comfortable wood handle for a secure, balanced grip during use. Also available in a tungsten carbide version for working with platinum — see part number 154.766.
