These large extra heavy 7.3 mm diameter friction ear nuts, also called friction ear backs,  work best with post diameter thickness from 0.76 mm (.030" or approximately 21 gauge) to 0.97 mm ( .038" or approximately 18 gauge). The outside diameter measurement of 7.3 mm is taken at the widest part of the nut. Made in the USA using 100% recycled gold and platinum by a leading precious metal findings manufacturer that has earned ISO 14001:2015 Environmental and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certifications.
