The Baldor 342 is a 1/4 HP, 2-speed polishing motor configured for 220V/60Hz power β the export version designed for use where 220V is the standard or available supply. This is a special order, made-to-order item. It operates at two fixed speeds: 1,800 RPM (low) and 3,600 RPM (high). This is not a variable speed motor.
Baldor polishing motors are sealed-bearing, high-performance, heavy-duty motors engineered for many years of continuous, trouble-free use. The dynamically balanced rotor and shaft deliver vibration-free, exceptionally quiet operation. Sealed ball bearings are lubricated for life and will never be compromised by dust or debris β making this motor well suited to the demands of a professional polishing environment. The Baldor 342 measures 13β1/8" end to end (without spindles attached) and has a shaft height of 4β11/16".

Notes
- Spindles and chucks sold separately. Baldor taper-fit spindles are listed individually; set screw-type spindles are not compatible with Baldor tapered shaft motors.
- To install a spindle or chuck: gently but firmly tap the spindle or chuck onto the tapered shaft with a mallet or a piece of wood until a snug fit is achieved.
- To remove a spindle or chuck: unscrew the spindle remover on the motor shaft until the spindle or chuck is pushed off.
- This is a 220V export version. Verify your power supply before ordering. Standard 115V/60Hz models are available separately.
