Ceraton Round Ceramic Fibre Files Polishing Kit of 9

Ceraton ceramic fibre polishing sticks represent a revolutionary approach to precision polishing for jewelers and metalsmiths. Each rod is constructed from ceramic and glass fibres bonded with a thermosetting resin, producing a thin polishing rod with exceptional tensile strength that will not snap or break even at high rotational speeds. Color-coded across nine grits, this complete kit takes you from aggressive material removal all the way through to a fine 1200-grit finish.

At 2.35 mm (3/32") in diameter and 50 mm (2") long, these rods fit directly into popular quick-change handpieces and are compatible with both standard rotating handpieces and newer back-and-forth motion polishing handpieces. Use diamond dressing wheels (such as Otto Frei items 110.175 and 110.180) to shape rods into custom profiles for tight corners, filigree holes, and other hard-to-reach areas. Tips may also be shaped using abrasive paper. Suitable for use on platinum, gold, and even gemstones. Also known as Cera-Stone.
