Born and raised in Paris, Remy Rotenier comes from a family of fashion designers: his grandfather designed lingerie and his father designed outerwear. He chose jewelry design and gemology, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Jewelry Design from the Haute Ecole de Joaillerie and gemology credentials from the French National Institute of Gemology, plus a diamond grading certificate from GIA in New York.
