Dixon Silversmith's T-Stake Anvil Shape #12

The Dixon T-stake Anvil can be used for any small to medium sized forging projects such as bracelets, rings, spoons and more. The Anvil stake is also good for hollow conical and rectangular work. Length is 12" (305mm). Flat top is 1-1/4" (32mm) wide at center , with horns tapering to 3/8" (10mm) at tips. All measurements are approximate.

These stakes are made by Grobet USA in the United States and carry the original Dixon trademark. They are supplied with a smooth basic polish and can be additionally polished by the user. Made of cast iron steel. These silversmiths stakes are used for any kind of jewelry making or metal forming, by silversmiths, blacksmiths or metalworkers. For best results mount on a solid base such as a stake holder part # 112.788 or a bench vice like the Durston 158.075, The hardy-hole of an anvil or even into a solid stump. The Anvil T-stake may be the most versatile for both jewelers and silversmiths.
