The Durston DRM W130E Standard Wire Rolling Mill with Extension Rolls is purpose-built for jewelers and metalsmiths who need a dedicated wire reduction solution. Wire rolling mills operate without a reduction gear by design—eliminating the slowdown that occurs during long wire passes and keeping your workflow efficient.
The standard wire grooves on this mill produce the traditional diamond-shaped profile used to reduce wire stock before drawing through a draw plate to achieve finished wire. With 11 square wire grooves ranging from 10 mm down to 1 mm, you have a wide range of reduction steps in a single pass-through sequence. The integrated side extension rolls add four half-round "D" shape grooves—4, 3, 2, and 1.5 mm—expanding your capability without a separate attachment purchase.
A 5-to-1 gearbox delivers controlled, consistent torque through 130 mm x 60 mm hardened rollers, supporting a maximum wire capacity of 8 mm and a sheet thickness capacity of 6 mm. At 82 lbs., this is a substantial bench mill built for repeated professional use.

This mill is designed exclusively for wire rolling and does not include flat sheet rollers. The standard groove profile reduces wire to a diamond cross-section suitable for draw plate finishing. For sheet and combination rolling applications, refer to other Durston mill configurations.
