The Durston Ring Stretcher, Reducer & Bender is a professional-grade combination tool engineered for jewelers who work with plain wedding bands in gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. Made in Great Britain by Durston (model 1302), this upright tool consolidates three essential ring-working functions into a single bench-mounted unit — stretching, reducing, and bending — eliminating the need for multiple separate tools.
The 6-spline stretching mandrel expands on the upstroke of the handle, allowing precise stretching of non-stone-set, non-ferrous plain wedding bands. A double-sided 16-hole band reducing plate accommodates most popular domed band profiles for compression work. A built-in ring bending jig with a single die for domed stock rounds out the tool's capabilities. The unit requires no maintenance and is ready to use straight from the box.
For use with non-ferrous metals only (gold, silver, platinum, palladium, etc.). Not suitable for stretching or reducing steel bands.
