The Steel Riveting Block by Eurotool, designed by Eugenia Chan, eliminates guesswork from cutting wire for rivets and eyelets. Each zone of this precision-machined block serves a specific function, giving jewelers and metalsmiths consistent, repeatable results when making and finishing wire rivets and eyelets.

The block features five distinct working zones labeled A through E, each designed for a specific step in the riveting process. Mount the block in a vise to access the curved-surface features on both sides.

Features

  • Zone A – Top holes: Flatten the balled end of a rivet with precision
  • Zone B – Middle row of holes: Approximately 1.8 mm deep, these holes allow wire to be cut to exactly the right length to form a head on both sides of a rivet — no measuring required
  • Zone C – Left-side dimples: Provide support during riveting to preserve and hold the shape of a rounded rivet head
  • Zone D – Right-side circles: Accommodate eyelet riveting in three different sizes without flattening the rounded rims
  • Zone E – Both sides of the block: Holes, dimples, and circles designed for working on curved surfaces; mount block in a vise to use these features
  • Consistent wire-cutting depth of approximately 1.8 mm in Zone B ensures uniform rivet heads every time
  • Multi-zone layout supports the full riveting workflow from wire prep to finishing
