The Foredom 2" Angle Grinder Basic Kit (AK69110) attaches to Foredom No.30 type handpieces — including the H.30, H.30H Square Drive, and H.30SJ Slip Joint — and transforms your flex shaft setup into a compact, versatile grinding and polishing station. Handpiece sold separately.
This quality machined, lightweight attachment lets you polish, grind, and sand a wide range of materials — including metal, wood, stone, acrylic, composites, glass, plastics, ceramics, bondo, fiberglass, rubber, and more — using 2" and smaller accessories. Instead of bringing your work to a bench polisher, you can bring the polishing power directly to the workpiece. That means hard-to-reach areas, large irregular forms, and even reshaping and polishing scratches on hammers, anvils, and stakes — all right at your bench.
Foredom recommends the Series TX or TXH motor as the optimum choice for use with this angle grinder. The SR motor is also compatible when operated in standard forward rotation only. This angle grinder must not be used in reverse rotation. It can also be used with a Foredom Flexade equipped with a No.30 handpiece.
The angle grinder runs at a 0.75 to 1 gear reduction. At maximum motor speed of 18,000 RPM (for short intervals only), the grinder produces up to 13,500 RPM. For example, a TX motor at its maximum of 15,000 RPM yields 11,250 RPM at the grinder head.
