Foredom HP4-917 Micromotor Control Box Only

The Foredom HP4-917 Brush Type Control Box is the dedicated power and speed control unit for Foredom's micromotor handpiece system. Sold as the control box only — with power cord included — this compact unit delivers dual-voltage operation (110V/220V) and a full suite of controls for precise rotary tool management at the bench.

Front-panel controls include an On/Off power switch, Forward/Reverse rotation selector, and a Manual or Foot Speed Control toggle. Speed is adjustable from low to full using the front dial, or via an optional foot control (sold separately). An integrated Overload Protector alerts the user when the motor stalls — the indicator light turns red and an audible beeping alarm sounds.

The rear panel features a voltage selection switch for choosing between 110V and 220V (default: 110V), along with two foot control ports — one for an optional on/off foot control and one for an optional variable speed foot control. The power cord is hardwired into the unit and comes fitted with a North American 3-prong plug. A plug adapter (not included) is required for use outside North America.

This control box is used in Foredom kits K.1020, K.1070, K.1080, and K.1090, and is compatible with Foredom micromotor handpiece H.MH-170, high torque handpiece H.MH-120, and hammer handpiece H.MH-110. Handpieces and foot controls are sold separately.
