German Machinist Square 75mm X 50mm (2 Inch)

Single unit weight: -- lbs / -- kg
A precision tool machined from a single piece of bar stock (billet), this German machinist square is the metalworker's equivalent of a woodworker's try square. The term square refers to the tool's primary function: measuring the accuracy of a right angle (90°). A small notch cut into the inside corner prevents fine particles from accumulating and affecting the square's reading accuracy.
Unlike less expensive machinist squares welded together from two separate pieces of material, this square is machined entirely from one piece of stainless steel (INOX) bar stock. The result is superior rigidity and long-term dimensional stability. It features a 50 mm (2") foot and stands 75 mm (3"), making it well suited for close-tolerance bench work, layout tasks, and inspecting right angles on small workpieces. Accuracy meets DIN 875/II (DIN 875/2) standards.
