Description

The GRS BenchMate Encore Pitch Cup is a precision work-holding accessory designed for use with the current-generation BenchMate Encore QC or BenchMate Encore QCX, as well as original BenchMates that have been equipped with the BenchMate Retrofit Kit (104.845). The cup fits inside the BenchMate body and enables the use of pitch to secure workpieces during engraving, stone setting, and other detailed bench work. This version does not include black pitch. If you require pitch, see part number 104.714, which includes black pitch.

Ideal for stone setting, small engravings, and precision work, this pitch cup excels at holding small, fragile, and irregularly shaped pieces securely. It can be used with or without a microscope, making it a versatile addition to any professional bench setup.

An incredibly useful addition to the GRS system

I've been waiting for something like this to be added to the GRS system. I don't have the pin vise for the GRS system so I've been using this with thermoplastic to hold pieces for stone setting. It works great with one exception: the screw that connects the cup to the post keeps coming loose. It's definitely worth purchasing even with that one flaw though.
