The Japanese Wax Carving Micro Knife TK-05 features a 2.0 mm triangular blade profile engineered for the most intricate and delicate wax carving work. Crafted from high carbon tool steel and hardened to 60 RHC, this precision instrument delivers exceptional edge retention and control, making it equally capable on harder materials such as wood and plastics. The tool is mounted on a lightweight black metal handle and measures 140 mm (5-1/2") from tip to tip, providing a comfortable grip suited to extended carving sessions. A leather cord tied at the base of the handle allows the tool to be hung safely when not in use, keeping sharp blades away from surfaces and hands.
