The Jura by GRS 502-023 Microscope Stand is purpose-built for micro-stone setting under a microscope. Unlike swing-away arms, this fixed stand keeps your scope locked in the optimal position, minimizing clutter while maximizing stability and repeatability. The latest version now supports two mounting methods—conventional Jura bench back-wall mounting or direct benchtop mounting.

Mounting Options

Conventional Jura Bench Back Wall Mounting

• Mount on a bench back wall located ≤ 18" from the front edge of the benchtop.
• Not intended for wall mounting behind a typical jeweler’s bench if the stand would need to reach > 12".
• Includes 4-hole bracket sized for the 1-5/8" vertical tube.

Direct Benchtop Mounting

• Includes mounting ring and bolt for through-bench installation.
• Drill a 3/8" (9.5 mm) hole; access to underside of bench required.
• Supplied bolt accommodates benchtops up to 1-1/2" (38 mm) thick; thicker tops require a longer bolt (user-supplied).
• Long vertical tube (16-3/4"/425 mm) provides working distance between scope and microblock.

Compatibility & Applications

• Designed for Meiji EMZ series and OttoSetters microscope heads (84 mm mount).
• Optimized for micro-stone setting and precision bench work where a fixed viewing position is preferred.

Bench Placement Note

The stand positions the scope off center to the right when viewed from the front. If a centered scope position is desired, mount the 4-hole bracket to the left of center on your bench.
