The NC Black J Hammer is an even smaller iteration of the K Hammer, purpose-built for micro shell forming with 26GA to 30GA metals. Its ideal proportion and weight distribution give metalsmiths precise control when maneuvering thin sheet and creating a wide assortment of traditional synclastic shell forms. Machined from billet steel with hand-turned Purple Heart handles, the J Hammer is one of four hammers in the NC Black Synclastic Shell Forming series.
