Round Faceted Genuine Sky Blue Topaz

Sky Blue Topaz is the trade name used to describe a bright, light blue hue of topaz. This gem is a great alternative to aquamarine, offering more intense color at a lower price point — making it an excellent choice for custom jewelry and client resale pieces alike. While blue topaz is popular and widely available in the jewelry market, naturally occurring blue topaz is actually very rare. The characteristic blue color is achieved by treating colorless topaz with irradiation and heat, resulting in a consistent, eye-clean stone with a vivid light blue appearance.

Blue topaz is recognized as a birthstone for December, adding sentimental value for clients seeking meaningful gemstone options.

Care note: Clean with warm, soapy water only. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners. Handle with extra care due to possible cleavage.
