Mimicking the rich royal blue of natural sapphire, these square faceted imitation sapphires are composed of lab-created blue spinel. Offering an affordable alternative to natural corundum, they deliver consistent color and clarity in calibrated sizes suited for a wide range of jewelry applications. These stones are generally safe for stone-in-place casting, though some risk of damage may occur. Clean with warm, soapy water; ultrasonic and steam cleaning are generally safe. Note that calibrated gemstone sizes may vary slightly by +/– 0.10 mm.
